Georgiy A. Voroshilov — Deputy General Director for Mining Production



He was born in April 18, 1950 in the village of Romanovo in Serov district of the Sverdlovsk region. In 1972 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Mining Institute n/a Vakhrushev with a specialization in “Technology and integrated mechanization for mineral deposits open mining”. Professional experience in mining –metallurgical field – 44 years. His professional career was started in 1971 at the post of a mine foreman of open mining operations at Bilibinsky GOK. In 2008 he passed the Ph.D. defense for the topic “Optimization of automobile roads’ slopes at open-pit and mountaintop removal mining pits”.

Prior to the work at “Uralmekhanobr” OJSC Georgy Voroshilov dedicated his activity to the institute “Uralgiproruda”, where he rose from the engineer of an automation department to the deputy director. Since 2010 he has been working as the deputy general director for mining production at “Uralmekhanobr”.
